2001 - CJM Engineering formerly known as CJM Precision Engineering was established in 2001 by Conor Monaghan. At the age of 21 Conor had left a steady reliable job to pursue his life long dream of running his own business. CJM Precision Engineering initially manufactured hydraulic rams for couplers and it wasn’t long before his reputation for quality and service grew dramatically and it was apparent that a second pair of hands were needed.

2003 – Conor’s brother Martin joined the business and together they operated the business out of premises on family ground. Together they grew the business and increased sales and productivity.

2005 – CJM Precision Engineering became a limited company, now known as CJM Engineering Ltd. The two brothers took the decision to expand their product portfolio and introduced hydraulic quick hitches to their product range. This move proved even more successful for Martin and Conor and led to substantial product development.

2007 – The Monaghan brothers launched a brand new product into the market place. It has been described as the simplest, safest and most reliable quick hitch in the market. The CJM Shotgun Auto-Lock coupler brought CJM Engineering to a whole new level. This product has opened several new avenues with some of worlds best known OEM’s.
